Participatory Review Report – AGILE (MENA Region)

Client: Plan International & UNICEF MENA

For the Participatory Review Report – Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment (AGILE) Report Plan Final, I designed the complete layout of this 65-page regional report.

The publication presents a participatory review of gender-transformative programming across Egypt, Jordan, and Lebanon. It includes executive summaries, methodological frameworks, program-level analysis, data findings, and field voices.

My role focused on:

  • Full report layout design (cover + interior)
  • Applying UNICEF and Plan International brand guidelines
  • Designing structured section dividers and clear hierarchy
  • Formatting complex content (tables of contents, acronyms, frameworks, matrices)
  • Organizing dense analytical text for readability
  • Designing visual elements to support frameworks such as the Gender Transformative Marker (GTM)
  • Preparing a polished, print-ready and digital PDF

The design approach prioritized clarity, structure, and professionalism. The report contains heavy analytical content, multi-country program comparisons, quotes from field participants, and technical frameworks. My goal was to make the information accessible without losing its depth.

Strong typography hierarchy, clean spacing, and consistent visual rhythm were used to guide the reader through long sections such as:

  • Executive Summary
  • Methodology & Data Sources
  • High-Level Findings
  • Program-Level Analysis
  • Monitoring & Evaluation Insights

The result is a cohesive, institutional publication that supports evidence-based storytelling while maintaining a modern, clean visual identity aligned with international NGO standards.
